I haven't really done much of the historical stuff or the rides, but they look fun albeit expensive. The laser light show and fireworks is a good time.

Definitely worth the drive!

An amazing park full of rich history. $15 dollars to get in. Food and restrooms available. This is a state park. Leave yourself a few hours to take in the entire park. The park will provide you with a map at the entrance as you come in. If you are lucky enough to visit at Christmas, the lights display is like no other. If you visit in the fall, the leaves on the trees are just beautiful. Enjoy this park, its truly a gem.

Went for "Stone Mountain Christmas" and found the experience very well done! My kids had a great time on the train, 4D theater (minus 1D for Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer) and sky lift. As the sun goes down, you can really see the expansive lights and colorful decor. All that said, I would not say it was over done. Just the rich experience.

Wonderful place! Displays the history of the American Civil War in Georgia in way that is fun for whole family. Snow Mountain (check it out!!!) is also rather fun. You can tube down a hill of snow or you can choose to stay and build snowmen, snow forts, or throw snowballs at targets. They have also added new dinosaur themed attractions to the park that are worth looking into.

I'm not sure what the admission price is because I always park about a half mile away and then walk to the park.

Stone Mountain is a great activity. The one mile hike is both challenging and fun (it gets really steep at the top), and the views are beautiful. I also once saw a velociraptor up there, so that was cool.

First time going and I loved it. Great place to hike, get some exercise and clear your head. I see the locals make it a daily trek to home to the top after talking to some of them. I can't wait to go back and ginger it again and enjoy the great view. I thought the carving would be bigger based on the pictures off seen. Some what underwhelmed with the stone carving.
